Megan Bengur

Therapist (she/her)

Fun fact: I am a huge theater fan and one of my favorite possessions is a RENT poster signed by Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal.

More About Me...

You are not broken. You already have all the answers in you. They may be buried and difficult to access but they are there. And if you don’t believe that yet, it’s okay. I’ve been there too. As a therapist, my most important job is to hold a safe space. Allowing you to access all the messy, dark and beautiful parts of yourself in order to heal and live the life you want. It will be hard. Change always is. I will hold the hope for you until you’re ready.

My journey to now has not been a straight line. With a decade working in the performing arts, I see life through a lens of experiences. We adapt and shape our beliefs about ourselves and others through what we have been taught and experienced. I’ve rewritten my story a thousand times. I love being a therapist because I get to walk alongside you as you rewrite yours.

I’m passionate about helping others heal. I use a variety of techniques, including EMDR, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy, to meet you wherever you are.

When not at work, you’ll usually find me exploring the world, whether it’s through a book, tv show, movie, play or travel. My daily meditation practice and finding my way back to my yoga mat helps to keep me grounded. I’ve been on a journey of self discovery since the beginning and am always looking for new ways to learn and grow.
